Bonjour tous,

The inimitable delight of wine, that embracing clinch of your palate to a grape taste that enraptures, is of all the world's wonders, an experience of incomparable width. Around seven years ago, I experienced an impossible idea, one that I couldn't believe could happen. Here's a re-enactment: My husband and I are sitting in a café in the Cevennes area of France, just an hour from Nimes, in the South, in a forgotten town, where locals just went about their daily routines. Of course, a couple of glasses of wine, a red, were brought to the table. With a couple of first sips behind me, a jolt rolled through. This wine is so amazingly honest, so much a Cabernet Sauvignon grape flavor. I've had many a wine, in all parts of the world. Have spent many a stints in countries, getting to know their wines. So why this wine of a humble Cevennes grower, my first question to myself. Next question, why am I finding this experience in a little, cul de sac community, far away from the majesty of the legendary Burgundies, Bordeaux, Rhone Valley and Loire Valley wines, I asked.

The rest of this story, you as a wine lover can no doubt, fill in the blanks. Yes, the country of France, with 2,000 years making wines, is no less than a juggernaut of mind-blowing wines. And, very few of these affordable wines of this level ever see the light of a grocery store shelf, or a wine and spirits store. That's where Micca LLC wines comes in. My life of savoring the beautiful things of life and my indiminishable optimism of rooting out these wines for everyone's consumption, hit the ground running. This is Micca, the wine merchant who brings you the wines you won't find many places. And, they are honest, authentic, representations of exceptional wine that one can afford and indeed, enjoy.

And here are some of them.
